Ralph Rochester is the author of Henry Hogge's The Pig Poets , For Love of Williamina and The Man Who Had Frogs Inside Him for which he won The Independent children's story of the year prize in 1995. He is also the winner of the 2001 David St John Trust prize for non-fiction and twice winner of the Larkhill Green Literary Prize (Literary Review). He also contributes regularly to the New Statesman , The Spectator and the Literary Review.
