About the Author

Janice Terry is Professor of Modern Middle East History at Eastern Michigan University. She is the author of several books and numerous articles on the Middle East and has co-authored two volumes of World History: Since 1500 (Wadsworth, 2000) and US Foreign Policy in the Middle East (Pluto, 2005).
