About the Author

Robert F. O'Toole, SJ taught at St. Louis University from 1974 to 1991 and then at the Pontifical Biblical Institute until he became professor emeritus in 2006. In addition to the present volume he is author of Acts 26: The Christological Climax of Paul's Defense (Ac 22:1--26:32); Who Is a Christian? A Study in Pauline Ethics; Luke's Presentation of Jesus: A Christology, more than fifty articles in various learned journals and numerous book reviews.
