Beginning his career in animation working on such films as The Iron
Giant, Anastasia and Titan A.E., Rick Remender has become a
comic-book triple threat - writing, penciling and inking numerous
fan-favorite series. Remender served as writer on hit video games
Dead Space and Bulletstorm, while providing art for punk/metal
bands like NOFX and 3 Inches of Blood. He's co-created many popular
independent titles, including the critically acclaimed Fear Agent
with longtime collaborators Tony Moore and Jerome Opena. His time
at Marvel started on Punisher, and has since led to well-received
runs on Uncanny X-Force, Venom, Captain America and Uncanny
Avengers. Remender made headlines by promoting Sam Wilson, the
Falcon, to full-fledged shield-slinger in All-New Captain
America.
Dan Slott has built a loyal fan base by combining old-school fun
with stories and characterizations friendly to new readers.
Following his run on She-Hulk, Slott moved into the upper echelon
of Marvel writers, launching Avengers- The Initiative and taking
the reins on Mighty Avengers from Brian Michael Bendis. When Marvel
gave Spider-Man a fresh start in 2008, Slott was one of several
rotating writers on the thrice-monthly Amazing Spider-Man. Slott
became the writer most closely identified with the web-slinger's
"Brand New Day" era, and the title hit the "Big Time" when he took
over as full-time writer for a decade-long run. Slott has also
turned his talents to other iconic Marvel heroes - including
soaring the spaceways with Silver Surfer; helming Tony Stark- Iron
Man toward Iron Man 2020; and masterminding the glorious return of
Fantastic Four, leading to his long-awaited "Reckoning War." In
2022, Slott made his way back to the Spider-Verse, teaming with
legendary penciler Mark Bagley on Spider-Man.
Writer Rob Williams got his start on the legendary British comic
magazine 2000AD and the critically acclaimed Cla$$war. His diverse
credits also include Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods and
Star Wars Rebellion for Dark Horse. In addition to the series
Daken- Dark Wolverine and Ghost Rider, Williams' Marvel work
includes such one-shots and miniseries as What If? Wolverine-
Father, Dark X-Men- The Beginning, Fear Itself- Uncanny X-Force,
Skaar- King of the Savage Land and Iron Age.
Artist Humberto Ramos made his American comics debut in 1994 with
DC's Impulse, featuring the Flash's brash grandson. In 1998, Ramos
launched the creator-owned Crimson under Wildstorm's Cliffhanger
imprint, illustrating the title for more than two years. He then
moved to Marvel, becoming one of the most recognizable and
innovative talents in comics. Seamlessly blending both Eastern and
Western styles, the artist's artist has worked on many of Marvel's
most iconic characters - including Spider-Man, Wolverine and the
X-Men - in addition to a run on the fan-favorite Runaways. Ramos
brought his kinetic artwork to the pages of Extraordinary X-Men and
Champions, as well as a magical collaboration with Skottie Young on
Strange Academy.
Artist Tony Moore is a small-town guy from Kentucky, raised by a
pack of wild televisions. The cocreator with Robert Kirkman of
pop-culture phenomenon The Walking Dead, he also lent his hand to
books such as Battle Pope, Masters of the Universe and Brit. Moore
collaborated with Rick Remender on Fear Agent and Simon Oliver on
The Exterminators. At Marvel, Moore reunited with Remender for the
cult hit Franken-Castle and the relaunched Venom. His hobbies
include watching horror movies, getting fat and sleeping.
Cartoonist and illustrator Tom Fowler has worked in comics,
advertising, and film and game concept design for such varied
clients as Disney, Hasbro, MAD, DC Comics and Marvel. He is best
known for his work on the feature strip "Monroe" for MAD Magazine
and his critically acclaimed series Mysterius the Unfathomable with
writer Jeff Parker. For Marvel, he has illustrated the Spider-Man
spinoff series Venom and the original graphic novel Hulk- Season
One.
