Mordechai Tamarkin has a BA in History and Political Science and MA in History (Hebrew University, Jerusalem), PhD in African History (School of Oriental and African History, University of London). He is Professor at the Department of Middle Eastern and African History of TAU, where he is the Head of the Tami Steinmetz Center for Peace Research.
