About the Author

Lee Scott has worked in the health and fitness industry for more than 25 years. After teaching a variety of group fitness classes, she developed the WoW Power Walking (R) programme in 2002. She has coached thousands of walkers for fitness and marathons, as well as fitness professionals that lead walking workout programmes. Scott has power walked more than 100 distance events including a 50k ultra-marathon and 32 full marathons. Michele Stanten is a walking coach and certified fitness instructor. She is also the author of Walk Your Way to Better Health and Walk Off Weight. Stanten is the creator of mywalkingcoach.com and numerous audio and online walking workouts. She has also created training programmes for leading brands and organisations including Avon and the American Council on Exercise.
