About the Author

James Eric Black is the Schumann Endowed Professor of Media Writing and Assistant Director of the Center for Collaborative Journalism at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, USA. A journalism and media studies professor who considers himself a “Cold Warrior,” Jay has written extensively on Joe McCarthy and pop culture repercussions of McCarthyism. He lives in Macon.
