About the Author

Emily Rodda is the pen name for Jennifer Rowe. Her books have met with critical acclaim, having won the Children's Book of the Year Award three times: for Something Special (1984), The Best-Kept Secret (1987) and Pigs Might Fly (1988). She is also well-known to children worldwide for her Deltora Quest series.
