About the Author

Jean Reynolds is Professor Emerita of English at Polk State College in Florida.

An award-winning teacher, she has over 40 years of experience teaching in a business school, prison school, and college. She has served as a consultant to numerous businesses and agencies, and she's given presentations at many professional conferences.

Her publishing credits include 11 books, including two books for the University Press of Florida, and many newspaper, magazine, and journal articles.

An internationally recognized Shaw scholar, she serves on the Editorial Board for the Shaw Journal.

She has been married to Charles Reynolds, garden writer for the Lakeland Ledger, for over 40 years. They enjoy reading and traveling.
