A stolen identity leads a woman down a dark and desperate path in a gripping novel of psychological suspense by Wall Street Journal bestselling author Minka Kent.
Minka Kent has been crafting stories since before she could
scribble her name. With a love of the literary dark and twisted,
Minka cut her teeth on Goosebumps and Fear Street, graduated to
Stephen King as a teenager, and now counts Gillian Flynn, Chevy
Stevens, and Caroline Kepnes amongst her favorite authors and
biggest influences. Minka has always been curious about good people
who do bad things and loves to explore what happens when
larger-than-life characters are placed in fascinating
situations.
In her non-writing life, Minka is a thirty-something wife and
mother who equally enjoys sunny and rainy days, loves freshly cut
hydrangeas, hides behind oversized sunglasses, travels to warmer
climates every chance she gets, and bakes sweet treats when the
mood strikes (spoiler alert: it’s often). Erin has fallen in love
with the medium of audiobooks (both as a listener and a performer).
What a great challenge for an actor - to play ALL the parts! She
has also turned into a big old Shakespeare geek. She takes class
with Red Bull Shakespeare and Shakespeare & Co. whenever she can
and has studied Shakespearean Clowning with Zach Fine and Andy
Grotelueschen from Fiasco Theater. In 2010, Erin joined The Strange
Bedfellows, a company of actors who perform Shakespeare in all of
his bawdy, violent, funny, and tragic glory. In 2016 she was an
Audie winner with the Audio Publisher's Association. Will Damron
began narrating audiobooks under the tutelage of Audie Award–winner
Julia Whelan. He has performed nearly every genre in the business,
from literary fiction to sci-fi, fantasy, romance, erotica,
nonfiction, young adult and books for young children. Frequently
praised for his voice artistry, Damron has been nominated for
numerous Audie and AudioFile Earphones Awards, and was the winner
of a 2015 Voice Arts Award for his narration of The Moon Dwellers
by David Estes.
'Minka Kent is one of those authors who I think I’ll always follow
closely ... she writes highly addictive and entertaining stories
that I’m able to devour in a few hours!'
*J. R. Ward, #1 New York Times bestselling author*
