Harriet Birrell is a young woman on a mission to celebrate
the abundance of whole, colourful plant foods that are available -
and to show people a different way to think about nourishing,
delicious ingredients. Based on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula, she
started her food journey serving organic smoothies and raw desserts
from a caravan on a bush block at Barwon Heads. This culminated in
her first book, Natural Harry, the success of which led to
Whole. When she is not cooking, or surfing, or tending her
veggie patch with dog Fred by her side, she is busy working on her
eco concept store inspired by the Natural Harry lifestyle. The
emphasis here is on functional, consciously produced wares made of
naturally occurring materials.
Harriet is a qualified health coach and yoga teacher, and has studied plant-based nutrition at e-Cornell University. She also has an advanced diploma in fashion design.
