Joan Chittister is a member and former prioress of the Benedictine
Sisters of Erie and currently the executive director of the
Alliance for International Monasticism (AIM). She is the author of
Psalm Journal, Winds of Change, and WomanStrength: Modern Church,
Modern Women.
