About the Author

Stephen served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, West Africa, from 1988-1991. Upon his retirement, he began teaching in Boston.

Yovo was written over 19 years in countless coffee shops and early mornings. The author has no credentials worth noting.

He now lives in Singapore with his wife, Stephanie (also an RPCV) along with his children, Ian and Zoe.
