Synopsis

Catering student Robin Tripp can't believe his luck when offered to share a flat with two young girls, Chrissy & Jo. While it's a strictly "keep your hands to yourself" arrangement, their suspicious landlord George Roper, keeps a disapproving eye on them, whilst Mrs. Roper is thrilled to finally have a Man About The House. Broadcast in 1973, Man About The House became an instant hit with audiences and it's daring premise (at the time) of co-habitation. A document of the changing times of 70's TV, Man About The House would spawn a feature film plus two equally successful spin off's "George & Mildred" and "Robin's Nest". Now, the entire First Series of Man About The House is collected together, complete & uncut for the first time including rare original broadcast ad caps. EPISODE LISTING: Three's A Crowd When Chrissy & Jo need a third to share their flat, Robin turns up in their bathtub. But will the landlord approve of a Man About The House? And Mother makes Four Robin's moving into the flat but he may be moving straight out when Chrissy's mother comes to visit. Some Enchanted Evening While Jo tries to win the heart of a man through his stomach, Robin & Chrissy endure an evening at the Ropers. And Then There Were Two - Chrissy becomes concerned when Jo goes away for the night leaving her alone in the flat with Robin. It's Only Money When the months rent was stolen, Robin, Chrissy & Jo must raise the cash quickly - but was it an inside job. Match Of The Day Struck down with the flu, Chrissy sends Robin to bed with Mother Askwith & her medical cures. Can he recover in time for a place on the college football team. No Children, No Dogs, Robin suffers from lumberphobia, but that doesn't stop Larry palming off a puppy to the flatmates but it's not in the lease.
