The Texas Troubadours became best known to the world at large as country giant Ernest Tubb's backup band, but they also had a career on their own, turning out some tasty, jazzy instrumental tracks, and those are all collected here. There's a strong Western swing flavor to many of these tunes, and when steel guitar virtuoso Buddy Emmons digs into his axe, the fur really starts to fly.
