  • Pianist Burton Greene was part of the first wave of free jazz experimentation in the early 1960s, and continued to show a commitment to experimental, largely improvised music in the decades that followed. BLOOM IN THE COMMUNE features five pieces, all of which are characterized by Greene's bracing style and penchant for fusing genres. The disc also features several interviews with Greene about the making of the album and his philosophy of music.
