This compilation brings together some of the strongest voices in traditional Irish music. Spare and without ornamentation (and often a cappella), the voices shine with clear, bell-like tones. A mixture of Gaelic and English vocals provide an exotic, authentic sound while allowing American audiences to also focus on the lyrical content of the songs.
