  • A perfectly acceptable, if somewhat attenuated greatest hits package. As usual, the Jimmy Webb songs are the most interesting; "Galveston," "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" and particularly "Wichita Lineman" have the feel of timeless pop classics.
  • Alan Toussaint's bouncy "Southern Nights" has also lost none of its charm, and the two non-hit tracks here are most definitely worth hearing. Campbell's cover of Pee Wee King's '50s stomper "Bonaparte's Retreat" is as idiomatic as they come, and the semi-obscure "Hey Little One," a catchy piece of proto-country rock by Rock And Roll Trio stalwart Dorsey Burnett, is an intriguing period piece.
