Have you ever listened to a hardcore album from Trustkill Records? If so, chances are you'll already know what Nora's Dreamers & Deadmen sounds like. Lots of metallic, hardcore guitars, hardcore screams, chugga-chugga riffing, and songs to which one can easily mosh. Sure, there are some change-ups where things get a little faster, but much of this is reminiscent of hardcore albums and bands from the mid- to late '90s. The tone of the vocals doesn't change much and neither does much of anything. Even the lyrics seem much like other hardcore bands' lyrics, with the typical questioning of relationships and friendships using terms of violence to get the points across from time to time. In the end, this all just smacks too much of everything else in the scene to be worth much of anyone's time except the most die-hard Nora fan. ~ Kurt Morris
