Recorded on July 13, 1983 at the Paradise Theater in Boston, this live broadcast features the original R.E.M. quartet just three months after the release of their debut, Murmur. The set list consists of most of that album, plus three songs -- "7 Chinese Brothers," "Harborcoat," and "Pretty Persuasion" -- from their next album, Reckoning, and "Just a Touch," which would resurface on 1986's Lifes Rich Pageant. Also included are six tracks that would end up on their rarities collection, Dead Letter Office, as well as a cover of the Mamas & the Papas' "California Dreamin'."
