Not an error in spelling, Dross Glop is a remix version of Battles' 2011 album Gloss Drop. Contributions come from artists in a variety of backgrounds, including Kode9, Mobb Deep affiliate the Alchemist, the Boredoms' Eye, Silent Servant, Gang Gang Dance's Brian DeGraw, and Hudson Mohawke. Sub Pop rappers Shabazz Palaces are the only contributors to add lyrics, with "White Electric," but essentially, the songs do a nice job of staying true to the original songs while adding their own spin.
