The second collection of music from the popular teen TV show One Tree Hill continues in the vein of the likeminded O.C. music series by featuring a mix of well-known and underground pop/rock artists. The heavy rock supergroup Audioslave prove to be the elder band here, offering up their midtempo ode to individuality, "Be Yourself," while the program's unofficial troubadour, Gavin DeGraw, sagely and effectively covers John Lennon's "Jealous Guy." Other standout songs include Hot Hot Heat's restless, angular "Middle of Nowhere" and Michelle Featherstone's spare, melancholy "Coffee & Cigarettes," rounding out an eclectic set that improves on the original album. ~ Eric Schneider
