A death metal album in the strictest sense, FURY AND FLAMES only increases the veteran act's r‚sum‚ of brutality. Bark-stripping hurricanes of sound such as "Bringer of Storms" and "Fury Within" sound like nothing less than the bowels of hell opening up, and Hate Eternal's technical acumen has never been sharper, with lurching rhythms unraveling into pummeling drumrolls and shattering guitars surfing the chaos.
