  • Fu Manchu are never at a loss for new material, as it seems like each year the group has either a new full-length or EP to offer fans. And one of their more popular mini-albums is (Godzilla's) Eatin' Dust, a compilation that merges two earlier EPs, 1997's Godzilla and 1999's Eatin' Dust, together as one (hence the compilation/reissue's title). As with all their releases, Fu Manchu lay it on hard and heavy throughout, including such eventual fan favorites as "Eatin' Dust" and "Mongoose" as well as a killer cover of Blue â„¢yster Cult's stoner rock classic "Godzilla." For some bands, EPs consist of throwaway tracks that weren't strong enough for inclusion in full-length albums. But as evidenced by (Godzilla's) Eatin' Dust, Fu Manchu's odds and ends out-rock most of the modern-day competition. ~ Greg Prato
