An influential figure on the Movida Madrilena scene, Spanish-Mexican new wave singer Olvido Gara Jova, aka Alaska, has been a dominant rock en espanol force since the late '70s. 2005 release Grandes Exitos collects 15 of her biggest hits from the band she fronted, Alaska y los Pegamoides, who have twice changed their name (to Alaska y Dinarama and then Fangoria), and includes "Bailando," "Ni Tu Ni Nadie," and "Horror en el Hipermercado." ~ Jon O'Brien
