This confident and relaxed 2008 outing by Rebecca Martin finds the New York City-based vocalist/guitarist backed by the topnotch trio of bassist (and husband) Larry Grenadier, guitarist/keyboardist/producer Kurt Rosenwinkel, and drummer Brian Blade. Working in a thoughtful jazz/pop vein that often brings to mind mid-1970s Joni Mitchell, Martin impresses on elegant tracks such as "To Prove Them Wrong" and "What Feels Like Home."
