Three years after the release of their 2009 hit album Nichts Passiert (which made it to number one in the charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and managed to stay in the German charts for an impressive 71 weeks), Silbermond return with their fourth studio album, 2012's Himmel Auf. Produced by Bernd Wendlandt, Ingo Politz, and Thomas Stolle, the album offers 14 tracks of radio-friendly rock/pop with a bigger, more polished sound than before, as can be heard on the first single, "Himmel Auf" (for which the group filmed a 14-minute music video). ~ Christian Genzel
