Recorded live at Royal Albert Hall, London, England on February 18, 1969.
Despite its misleading title, this short set is a recording of one of Jimi Hendrix's final concerts, one of the many posthumous issues of the legendary rock guitarist's live material. Hendrix is obviously exhausted, and the sound quality leaves much to be desired, but these brief recordings are still a fascinating artifact of the musician's last days--and Hendrix on a bad day still stood head and shoulders above many of his contemporaries at their best.
