Released in 2003 -- the same year they decided to call it quits -- Hit & Run is a greatest-hits collection from the Canadian blues-rock band Big Sugar. With "Diggin' a Hole," "If I Had My Way," "Better Get Used to It," and "The Scene" all on the track list, newcomers get the necessary hits. Veteran fans will appreciate how well the set is rounded out as album cuts like "Ride Like Hell" and their cover of Traffic's "Dear Mr. Fantasy" are just too superior to be considered filler.
