Performer Notes
  • Lyricist: A Ghoul Writer.
  • Personnel: St. Trident Tenors of Tinseltown (vocals).
  • Audio Mixer: Nick Rasculinecz.
  • Recording information: Blackbird Studios, Nashville, TN; Hufvudstaden, Soderkping, SE; Mayfire Studio, Linkping, SE; The Bridge Recording Studios, Glendale, CA.

  • Swedish metal act Ghost (not to be confused with the Japanese acid folk group or any number of other acts taking on the namesake) followed their 2010 debut with the darkly creeping Infestissuman. Much like its predecessor Opus Eponymous, the album is full of Satanic references and heavy sentiments, but musically leans away from the extremes of death metal or black metal, relying instead on a brooding chug and slower, sickly rhythms to push the bands wicked, sometimes macabre messages. ~ Fred Thomas
Professional Reviews
Rolling Stone (p.72) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "The songs are knotty and complicated....The results are intricately plotted..."
