  • Simply on account of being a Texas-born, piano-playing, female singer/songwriter with a subdued style, Keri Noble has had to deal with unfounded comparisons to Norah Jones, but the songs on this self-titled album clearly establish Noble's own musical identity. From the hushed, languid feel of "Simple Things" to the punchy "Go Proud," Noble's throaty, sensual voice is front and center, but it's her hook-heavy tunes that make the whole thing move.
