Since his 2011 debut, Al Frente y de Frente, became a hit on the Billboard charts, the prolific artist has delivered an album each year for Sony's Gerencia 360 label. The 15 tracks on La Balanza are a colorful and vibrant mix of modern-day norte?o styles full of rich, percussive brass sections, bajo sexto, accordion, and often wild, inventive drumming.
