Since 1977, Riders in the Sky have been performing their own unique mixture of comedy and music, combining classic Western songs in the style of the singing cowboys of the '30s and '40s with rib-tickling humor that draws big laughs from audiences of all ages. Based in Nashville, Riders in the Sky performed a very special hometown show where they were accompanied by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra at the Music City's prestigious Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Lassoed Live at the Schermerhorn was recorded during this unique concert, and features a number of the group's best-loved songs with full symphonic arrangements, including a medley of songs the group wrote and recorded for the movie Toy Story 2.
