When it comes to jazz bands, one great one with major longevity was Eastern Rebellion. Based around the core of pianist Cedar Walton, bassists Sam Jones or David Williams, and drummer Billy Higgins, it also boasted a revolving cast of saxophonists including Bob Berg and Clifford Jordan.
