  • Although it might be hard to say exactly what a traditional Christmas is anymore as the first decade of the 21st century closes out, this set of holiday tunes (it has been released in different sequence configurations and with different covers over the years) takes a shot at it, however subjectively. There are certainly some classics here, like Frank Sinatra's "White Christmas," Bing Crosby's "I'll Be Home for Christmas," Spike Jones' goofy "Two Front Teeth (All I Want for Christmas)," and Benny Carter's version of "Jingle Bells," so whether or not it adds up to a "traditional Christmas" song list isn't too important in the end -- it conveys the season. ~ Steve Leggett
