Camden's hearty, 21-song showcase of Fran‡oise Hardy is an excellent set, offering an appealing place for the curious to start if the two-disc set of her work, The Vogue Years, seems a bit too much to immediately delve into. Titled simply Fran‡oise Hardy, this collection takes the listener on a romp through Hardy's wonderfully catchy works of the '60s, collecting some of her best and well-known tracks such as "Les Temps des Souvenirs" and others while giving an excellent document of her vast stylistic experimentation, the incredible arrangements which graced her superb songs, and her confident and direct approach. ~ Gregory McIntosh
