Kicking off with four new songs, the album includes pop conspirators Dianne Warren, R.Kelly and the Minneapolis duo of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who push for a new-jack edge on "I Won't Let You Do That To Me." The remaining tracks are a mix of straight-up ballads ("I Can Make It Better"), a dance-friendly Janet Jackson remix ("The Best Things In Life Are Free") and a handful of covers that include an unexpectedly sanctified take on Stephen Stills' free-love anthem "Love The One You're With."
