Though Better Than Ezra faded from alt-rock popularity in the late 1990s, the trio, best known for the hit "Good," soldiered on into the 21st century. The follow-up to 2005's BEFORE THE ROBOTS, PAPER EMPIRE is a highly dynamic set that ranges from the catchy anthem "Absolutely Still" to the angular, New Wave-influenced number "Nightclubbing" to the plaintive ballad "I Just Knew."
