  • On their tenth album, The Path of Totality, nu metal icons Korn look to expand their heavy, stomping sound by infusing it with the heaviest thing the electronic scene has to offer: dubstep. Working with producers like Skrillex and Noisia, the band takes its sound to new levels of aggression, melding its chugging guitars with acerbic blasts of destructive bass wobble, creating a new sound that feels almost as at home in the mosh pit as it does on the dancefloor.
Professional Reviews
Spin (p.74) - "[T]hese West Coast rap-rock OGs hook up with various on-the-rise producers, including Skrillex, Datsik, Kill the Noise, and 12th Planet, for the most blatant nu-metal cred grab since Limp Bizkit covered 'Bittersweet Symphony.'"

Record Collector (magazine) (p.95) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[A]s an exercise in boundary-expanding, THE PATH OF TOTALITY is laudable."
