Award-winning Banda Machos delivers a 12-track album combining the most popular Mexican styles, starting with its main title, "A Prueba de Balas," and including "La Ruquita" and "Esa Chinche Vieja," performed in a northern style known as Cumbia norte¤a. They turn to ballads with "Dentro De Mi" and "No Me Toques," mariachi with "El Triste," corrido with "El Bato Perr¢n," and merengue with "Ya le Dieron Pa' Sus Tunas." An interesting collection from a well-known Mexican band. ~ Drago Bonacich
