Here is the bottom line: this is the best of modern Punjabi electronica, electro-pop, and the hard-driving sound of Indian groove. There are two cuts by Jasbir Jassi, and other fine moments by Ashok Mastie, Rajeshwari, Rajinder Kau Raina, and Preet Baar, but virtually everything here is worth taking in and absorbing. It isn't just rhythm and harmonics either, it's the unique melody sets that take trance as a liftoff point to create songs, rather than simply tight grooves. ~ Thom Jurek
