  • Although there is something just a tiny bit unsettling about lullaby versions of Michael Jackson songs rendered for children, and it's difficult to really think of Jackson hits like "Thriller" and "Billie Jean" as suitable for lullaby treatment, one can pretty much turn anything into a lullaby if the words are stripped out and everything is done with hushed chimes, bells, strings, and sweetly air-brushed instrumentation. That's the case here. It works for baby because the words and the context they bring are absent. ~ Steve Leggett
