True to its title, the Judds' blockbuster third album, ROCKIN' WITH THE RHYTHM, is indeed one of the multi-platinum mother-daughter country duo's most rocking albums. While there are some poignant ballads that show off Naomi and Wynonna Judd's pipes to fine effect ("Grandpa [Tell Me 'Bout the Good Old Days], "Dream Chaser"), tunes like the bluesy "Have Mercy," and the rockabilly-inflected title track prove that the Judds were about much more than cooing pretty tunes. There's even a honky-tonked-up version of Lee Dorsey's '60s New Orleans R&B hit "Working in The Coal Mine" that's full of the Judds' unique brand of jumping country. Unsurprisingly, all this forward motion gave the album (and its singles) one of the best chart performances of the duo's hit-packed career.
