Singer/songwriter Joshua Radin made a splash straight out of the gate with his 2006 debut album, WE WERE HERE. Its successor, SIMPLE TIMES, follows a similar sonic thread, offering intimate, acoustic-based balladry buoyed by a touch of bouncy pop that suggests a Paul Simon for the GREY'S ANATOMY set. Radin's gentle, unassuming tones are equally effective on the sparkling pop of "Sky" (featuring Ingrid Michaelson) and the emotions-under-a-microscope introspection of "No Envy No Fear."
