There's an air of mystery about Dean Evenson and Soundings Ensemble's SOUND MASSAGE. As in his acclaimed other works, Evenson's primary purpose is to create a mood of deep relaxation beneficial for bodywork and massage. The evocative use of the guitar, harp, flute, and violins in songs such as "Heart of the Forest" and "Harmonic Heaven" have the added benefit of creating a sense of wonder, travel, and distance that enhances the experience and takes it to a deeper level.
