  • Bluegrass legends Earl Taylor and Jim McCall, along with the Stoney Mountain Boys, did much to advance the cause of bluegrass in the 1970s. Though not exactly chart-busters, they did record albums that were popular among college students and lovers of roots music. This compilation gathers two dozen classics, including a lovely rendition of the Carter Family's "Wildwood Flower."
