Glenn Jones departed RCA after this album, which did moderately well but didn't succeed in breaking him in the urban contemporary market. The single "Stay" was a mild hit, but overall Jones was still building his reputaton after being a prime gospel singer. He demonstrated the resounding presence and soulful mannerisms that eventually made him a hit artist in spots, but this was more an evolutionary release than a finished product. ~ Ron Wynn
