Absu's third LP, The Third Storm of Cythraul, continues their more intellectual approach, drawing inspiration from ancient Middle Eastern mythology, as well as more typical death-laden imagery. The music draws from classic thrash and black metal, yet adds a modern, progressive edge. ~ Steve Huey
