Although Epic's 2002 compilation This Is Ty Herndon: Greatest Hits is a little short at 13 tracks, it does contain most of the contemporary country crooner's biggest hits, from his debut hit "What Mattered Most" through "Steam." The album isn't sequenced chronologically, which may be a problem for some listeners, but the end result has Herndon at his best, making it a nice summary and introduction. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
