  • Founded by the sons of reggae singer Denroy Morgan, Morgan Heritage is a contemporary reggae outfit that sticks to a traditional roots-oriented sound as opposed to the dancehall-inflected sounds of many of their contemporaries. THREE IN ONE may find the band dabbling in political platforms and the occasional bid for crossover appeal (such as the collaboration with indie rockers Good Charlotte on "Jump Around"), but for the most part the album sticks to roots reggae and Rastafarian messages. Buoyant grooves and sweet harmonies characterize this enjoyable release from Morgan Heritage.
